Beautiful Girl.
One of my recent design team assignments for Practical Scrappers was to use patterned paper. Usually it’s not a problem for me to use a bunch of patterned paper, but for some reason when I was putting this page together I just wanted one little strip and that was enough for me.
Can you see it? ha ha I even broke out the old decorative scissors and cut along the edge of it just for the fun of it!
The chipboard title and the flowers are from an old Top Line Creations kit (I didn’t use the paper) and I can’t remember where the chipboard scroll thing is from.
This ended up being a really bulky page for me, but the way I scrapbook is always sort of evolving and today I felt like adding more layers. I like it!
I added in a little butterfly. I own one Martha Stewart punch and it’s this butterfly and I love it! For this one I punched it out of Bazzill swiss dot cardstock and then I added Stickles to all the little raised dots.

It’s been raining a lot here and after a few sunny days it’s supposed to rain some more…..yuck. So how appropriate that I can now show you one of my recent design team assignments for Practical Scrappers. We were supposed to use fabric or tulle, and I used the new rose ribbon from Dear Lizzie (American Crafts). It has tulle as a bottom layer. This is my new favorite thing. I would like it in every color imaginable please!
This is a photo from almost 7 years ago, and it’s so hard to believe my kid is 10 years old now. She had a birthday last Friday. Double Digits! It makes me feel faint….
Anyway, I was inspired by a layout with this title that I saw a few years ago in Scrapbook Trends magazine….I think….. I may have found it online. My memory is not what it used to be, okay?
(those are papers from BoBunny’s Love Bandit line and American Craft Thickers letters)
Here’s another angle:
Isn’t that rose ribbon wonderful? I just love it!
