Our Wedding Day.

I did this layout with a PageMap sketch from Becky Fleck when she was having a call for an upcoming book or something, and since it didn’t get picked I can show it to all of you now!  I decided to use some wedding photos that I took of my step-granddaughter’s wedding in November of last year.  The whole thing started because I got that nice circle title diecut from Pebbles, Inc. and wanted to do a wedding page but I had done my own wedding album years ago, so I used Zach and Danielle’s photos instead!  This is usually what happens to me.  There’s one element that becomes the basis of my scrapbook page, the starting point for me that makes me WANT to make the page.  It’s always different.  Sometimes it’s the photo, sometimes it’s something else, like in this case a title circle. 

This is what I came up with using Becky’s sketch:

 You can see below where I took some Stickles and traced the outlines of the flowers just to add to sparkle (cause you know I’m all about the sparkle!)

She had 2 little birds on her sketch and I figured since I was using photos that were all about L-O-V-E that I would put a heart between the little lovebirds.  I used more Stickles to outline the heart because it’s a “ghost” heart and is clear acrylic so not real noticeable.

The flowers were cut out of My Minds Eye paper (I think) and I added just a bit of Stickles to the middle of them, and here you can see where I used gorgeous fabric covered brads from K&Co.  These brads are really nice quality.

I’m going to put this in a frame (somebody sells 12×12 frames somewhere, right?) and give it to the bride and groom to hang in their new home.  Does anyone know where I can buy a frame for a 12×12 page?  It seems like I’ve seen them somewhere but can’t remember where.  Steer me in the right direction if you know!
