I believe I can FLY….
This is the second project I came up with as a design team member over at Practical Scrappers. Our mission was to use brads this week, which is something I rarely do anymore for some reason. I based this layout on a sketch by Heidi over at CropStar. She’s got a sketch contest going on. Sketches are also something I don’t use a lot, so it was nice to get out of my “comfort zone” this week and this is what I came up with.
I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch to make a butterfly from an old music book page (painted with watered down acrylic paint and Stickles) to tie in with my FLY theme.
I used a Fancy Pants straight pin to coordinate with my butterfly and the whole FLY theme of my page.
You can’t tell it here, but those little Imaginisce mini brads are sparkly!
Title is done with my all time favorite American Crafts thickers (LAX). I LOVE these!

Hi Corinna! I was visiting your blog to tell you that I loved your ‘she’s all that’ layout for this week’s challenge and thought I’d leave some more love about this layout too! I didn’t notice the straight pin or butterfly punch out the first time I looked at your page and love those little touches. You really rocked my sketch
this is such a pretty LO
Tulle is one of my faves!
