Wedding Wishes frame.

November 10th, 2009

My granddaughter was married this weekend and she had this idea from somewhere to put a jar on a table at the reception and ask guests to write down a wedding wish or advice for the bride and groom onto a square of paper, roll it up into a scroll and seal it with a sticker, and drop it into this big glass jar.  Then she figured she’d put all the wishes into a scrapbook later.  I thought it was a neat idea and was asked to make a sign with “instructions” for the table.  This is what I came up with.  She just wanted me to type up something on a sheet of paper, but that’s not how I roll.  ha ha   I cut the words at the top and the heart scroll at the bottom on my Pazzles machine.  I love how this turned out.  Her colors were earthy colors, camouflage colors, so I went with green words/etc mounted onto brown cardstock and then used a darker brown frame.   She loved it!  What do you think?
