Her Mad Face.
“I love her mad face. It makes me laugh.” These photos are from 2005 several months apart, and they still made me laugh as I was putting this page together. I’m pretty sure the patterned paper that I used for my background is even older than that!
I love this kid. Have I mentioned that before on here? ha ha
Those are American Crafts letter stickers and Thickers. LOVE these. I love pretty much anything American Crafts!

Once again, Sandie is keeping me in business and requested a custom wedding shower card in tropical colors to go along with the tropical wedding card I showed the other day. Their wedding invitations said something about tying the knot, so Sandie thought it would be cute if I could somehow incorporate that into the card with a knot around the groom’s neck, so this is what I came up with.
This was before I actually glued down the phrase, and in the end I decided to put it above the bride and groom to be, but you get the idea here.

I got this idea from somewhere I can’t even remember a long time ago and just now finally got around to making it. I happen to own a mini weenie dog, so I love this card!
You can find this card for sale in my etsy shop here. Anybody else out there with weiner dogs?

There’s this blog that I read and love called Skip To My Lou, and she is always sharing the cutest projects on there, crafty things, lots of times providing a printable or template, etc. She’s just a very helpful crafty person and I love that she graciously gives away printables and things like that when so many people want to make a profit from their stuff.
Anyway, she recently showed some cute cupcake wrappers and provided a template for them, and all you need is some scrapbooking paper, which most likely if you read my blog you have a ton of that! ha ha Now, I’m on a budget, people, so this is right up my alley. I’ve seen some lovely cupcake wrappers on Fancy Flours that are to die for, but the price tag just kills me. Hello? They’re gonna be thrown in the trash!
These, however, are done with a strip of any kind of scrapbooking paper you have, and I can’t wait to make some for my daughter’s costume party next week! And I’m thinking about how we can do these for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, school parties, etc.
Isn’t this darling? Go to Skip To My Lou here to look at her other photos and download the printable template to make these yourself! And then take a look around her blog, because she has tons of awesome stuff on there!

Here’s another custom order from my friend Sandie. The wedding this time will be in tropical colors of watermelon and tangerine, and I had the perfect American Crafts paper from their Everyday line to use for this. Love when that happens since I live where there are NO scrapbook stores to go to for a different paper! Without consciously meaning to, I combined two of my favorite companies with this card, American Crafts and Making Memories.
See the strip of scalloped paper? I cut that with my Pazzles machine myself!
I made this flower myself by cutting the papers into varying sizes of circle, inking the edges with my Colorbox cat’s eye fluid chalk pad, and distressing the edges with my Heidi Swapp edge distresser. Then I topped it off with a Making Memories button from the Vintage Hip line (my favorite!). Here’s a close-up.

Saw this today on another blog and just thought it was so cool. It’s called “This Office Wants It That Way.”
I don’t know why I can’t figure out how to embed video into my blog posts (seemed so easy….thought it worked!), but here’s the link on youtube….. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWhUeAy35qc

This is a special order from my friend Sandie. I think she’s trying to keep me in business! Thanks Sandie! She wanted a wedding card in shades of brown.
See the sparkles? Love sparkles!
I’m going to get your other order finished this week Sandie and then maybe you can get them both at the same time.
