‘Nother project.

November 6th, 2008

I bought these chipboard letters made by Creative Imaginations at a scrapbook store in Springfield, Illinois a looong time ago when my friend Thea and I traveled there to take a Donna Downey class.  (P.S. She is a RIOT! — have I told the story about that yet?) Anyway, I’m ashamed to say that I had a plan for them the entire time since, but they’ve been sitting here in the box.  Sometimes I drive myself crazy the way I procrastinate!

My daughter is an 8-year-old artist and she has such a passion for it that I made her a little room all her own that we call her “art room.”  Aren’t we CLEVER?  Anyway, my plan was to alter these letters with some pretty paper and hang them on her wall somehow above the wall of windows.

They aren’t on the wall yet, but here’s a shot of what they look like since I started working on them the other day.

I’m thinking I’ll be adding some bling and some small little flowers maybe and some ribbons maybe, so they are still a work in progress.  But I’m loving how they look so far.

I’ll show the finished product when we get them on her wall.
