Monkey Accordian Album Scrapbook

September 19th, 2007

Here’s a little project I made for a friend (Hi Jamie!).  She’s nuts for monkeys, so that was why I chose that theme.  It’s a double-sided accordian book from 7Gypsies.  I love it.  It came as a beige color and I covered it with patterned paper.  The front and back cover are very nice heavy chipboard and they came separated from the book so that I could cover them also and then I glued the covers to the pages.  I’m definitely going to buy more of these.  If you want really specific info on how to make one, leave me a comment.

This is the front cover.

In case you’re interested, the supplies I used are:

Around the Block patterned paper on cover

Cactus Pink Palms patterned paper

My Minds Eye rugged dots/blue patterned paper

My Minds Eye Kaleidoscope brothers stripe/teal patterned paper

Gin X Imagination Project Say What? Say Anything Unreturned Calls patterned papter

The Paper Studio lime with light dots patterned paper

Reminisce Monkey Business, Goin Bananas, Jumpin Monkeys, Ooh Ooh Aah Aah patterned papers

7Gypsies Zig Zag book kit

Creative Imaginations Debbie Mumm Monkey Business monkey stickers

A monkey zipper pull from my daughter’s jacket that broke off

1.5 inch circle punch from LTD Commodities

Various ribbons from Offray, Michaels, Maya Road, American Craftts.  I delivered this to my friend today, and she LOVED it.  I was so happy that she was happy, I’m ready to make her another one!
